St. Luke’s Villa
Owned and operated by the Diocese of Scranton and served by the Carmelite Sisters, St. Luke’s Villa is the provider of choice for quality, skilled care for both short term and long term care residents. St. Luke’s Villa is located in downtown Wilkes-Barre with easy access to dining, entertainment and other services. St. Luke’s Villa provides a full continuum of care to meet residents’ needs.
St. Luke’s Villa skilled nursing unit is a small 50 bed unit with both private and semi-private rooms. The unit is staffed 24 hours per days with RN’s/LPN’s and certified nursing assistants. A full range of skilled nursing services is provided. A Medical Director is on staff and physicians are available 24 hours per day.
St. Luke’s Villa Personal Care Unit has 45 private rooms. This unit is tailored for those residents who still maintain a certain level of independence but require some assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, medication administration and 24 hour supervision. Three meals are provided daily in the dining room and housekeeping and laundry services are provided. Room fees are all inclusive with the exception of medications, toiletries, personal phone and beauty shop/barber services.
For those wishing to maintain their independence and benefit from a worry free and secure retirement community, St. Luke’s Villa has 31, one bedroom apartments located right on the St. Luke’s campus. Amenities such as three selective full-course meals, housekeeping, transportation, laundry services, reserved parking, beauty shop and barber services, paid utilities, social interaction and daily Mass are all available.
